Not my band, this was my brother Steve's band in the '80s. He was the bass guitar player. The keyboard player died recently. He had moved on to movie soundtracks years ago.

My recollection was that producer Sky Saxon worked the hell out of them in the studio, like what I though were a ridiculous number of takes on a guitar solo, that sort of thing. Shot a video, too.

Then he shopped it to major labels but I guess he couldn't get the deal he wanted or something so he basically shrugged and walked away. Maybe he wrote it off on his taxes.

But, memories are liable to change over time. I did remember thinking they were great. Now that I've heard them again for the first time in decades, I remember why :yep:

Pretty rad I'd say! I'm a sucker for that kind of guitar tone.

I wish the sound were better.

But at least you get the idea.

I heard that the singer died a few hours ago. I'm hoping it's a mistake.

The keyboard player died last summer and the drummer died years ago. None of these guys were that old.
