Something new from Waves

https://www.waves.com/plugins/abbey-roa ... chain-demo
Anybody tried it? The old TG plugins seemed to be popular.

Heard about this today, and after looking over the features I'm very excited to try it. I was a very big fan of the old [non-waves] Abbey Road bundle, and this looks to be pretty similar to that at least in terms of functionality. Gonna give it a try soon.

Hard to go wrong for $39.
But of course that’s how Waves keeps getting you!

I've been waves-free for years now, but I tried the demo, and I'm gonna buy this one.

I just tried it on a lackluster snare. Amazing!

2 things I noticed:

1) Put the limiter before the EQ (at least for this application)

2) make sure you don't clip the output. On some plugins you can, with this one it totally kills the glorious sound.

Other than that, just adjust to taste

I ended up buying this for $27, the EQ section is my favorite with the fully adjustable shelves on every band. I've been looking for this ever since the original Abbey Road plugins were discontinued - I think this covers the original bundle pretty well, except for the RS124. Now if only someone would make a new version of that...
