VST plugins problem
Below is a topic I started on the Cakewalk forum. I don't know if any of you can help, but I'm not confident that Cakewalk can help me and I'm about at the end of my rope. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I installed a new hard drive and switched f...

"third party" still implies a two party centric system. Remove political affiliation from the ballots and see how the general population votes.. I'm surprised that this is such a difficult concept to grasp. "Remove political affiliation from the ballots" Pretending for a moment ...

I'm not sure what you mean by normal but I'm guessing probably not.
I am a second generation troll-bot, now with advanced level 4 AI.
I was programmed by a couple of college guys who wanted me to act like a real guy, not a bot.
So they made me not very helpful and kind of annoying.

Re: Barfly
The mix sounds good and genre-appropriate to me. I have to bass-check with AKG K240s because my monitor system is anemic in the low end and I have no subs. The timing on the vocal could use a little tightening up -- many syllables seem to arrive late -- but maybe that was due to research John was co...

No, that's wrong even as a generalization.unitymusic wrote: ↑July 6th, 2019, 6:59 pm I 100% agree with you there, one side is very obviously worse, but the problem is only having two "sides". Decisions are made out of loyalty and spite, rather than concern and regard for actual policy.

I also think she has the courage of her convictions and is fighting for what she believes in (and we believe in). I think we could expect her to stand up to belligerent thugs when it becomes obvious that you can't work with them.

Re: Mixing multiple projects at the same time
I’m not aware of Zappa at RPS NY. But Cyndi accused me of using “her” drum sounds on the Clarence Clemons record I was making at the same time as her first record. In truth, I didn’t share much in the concepts between how I approached the two, but they’re both my taste and in the same room so there...

Re: Mixing multiple projects at the same time
The best sound possible. I think you can overthink this. Let's take the example you've given. So do I intentionally forbid myself from using the same samples on both, or do I choose simply what sounds best to me ATM, even if it's the same sounds? If you find samples that work better on both projects...

Re: Mixing multiple projects at the same time
Yes, while it may be absurd, and of course I won't try to distort clarinet, but if I listen to something for a long time, it starts to sound "right" and I need some time to refresh my hearing. I have learned I need to take breaks every hour or so when working on something for this very re...

Re: Mixing multiple projects at the same time
Though to have to start mixing two big projects at once is not something that had happened to me too often. Usually, I am working on revisions for one projects and start another. This makes me a bit worried -- would projects influence each other too much? [/quote How do I share the workload? I comm...

Thanks, Keks. I thought I heard something punching through last night while listening to it in my car but I couldn't quite suss it out, thought it might be bass guitar. I think I should be able to isolate that and clean it up with a volume envelope without changing anything else.
