What needs to be let go of is just being lazy and handing campaign messaging and communication over to the personalities we like. Both Sanders and Clinton came across as the upper middle class guilt tripping the rest of the middle class about various characterizations of "helping the poor."...

Winning over "their" supporters will require a great deal of education over a period of years if not decades. They need to be taught why there is nothing to fear but being sold fear by a despot, aka "fear itself." Most of these people's grandparents supported Roosevelt except for...

The only way the market can balance things is by having no limits at all on liability for owners and investors. Corporations would simply be illegal.
The desire for liability limits has always been exchanged for the imposition of government oversight and regulations.

So much of this crap traces to European colonialism it's ridiculous. Racism was the way the upper class explained away their un-Christian treatment of the local people in the various countries around the world they conquered. The big picture is that they are about to all be directly competing on providing 5G bandwidth which is going to drive rates down. Exclusive or reduced-price access to "content" is the only way they can possibly compete in the near future.

What drives progressivism is fear of a labor revolution. Today we are dealing with the children of those who were afraid in the 1920s and '30s. That fear also historically drives fascism which is the divide and conquer approach of switching the blame so the victims fight among each other while ignor...

The classic problem with inherited wealth. Destroying health care doesn't exactly protect you from disease. Destruction of customers doesn't grow businesses. The use of fascism to protect you from the labor unions does not assure your safety.

They believe that their ability to become rich is under attack. The truth is that it is, however, the people attacking their opportunity are the very people who are telling them that "it's all the liberals' fault." Big business has always been pro-fascist/anti-labor.

It's simply math. When the numbers are filtered and converted to analog, there can be an increase in peak level because the final sample point is at a different place in the waveform.

Re: True Peaks
The waves L1 offered intersample peak control only they called it "analog!"
D to A converters expand audio to peaks beyond "0" and lossy encoder filters are even worse.

Sounds like they are doing administration. 15% sounds a bit high. If I remember right, 5% is common for worldwide collection. In Europe, publishers do the promotion and expect around 25%.

To me, it's all about balance translation. Compression and eq. can make a balance "sort-of work' on one set of speakers but "sort-of" isn't really good enough.
